Do you realize that when you're struggling through a hard test in school the teacher is always quiet during the test? Jesus is the Master teacher and though He is silent during the often tough trials you experience in life, don't mistake His silence for His distance. He may be silent but He is NOT distant, He is there with you in the fire just like He was with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego (Daniel 3:23-25).
