In this passage, the Apostle Paul was reminding the leaders of the church in Ephesus that he left no stone unturned in his goal to bless them in any way he could and in doing so the blessing became mutual. Just as fragrance from flowers remain on the hands that give them, when we seek the enrichment of another person’s life our lives likewise will automatically be more enriched in ways that really matter. So to whom can you go be blessed and a blessing to today?

This life isn’t the destination, it is only the journey and time is an ocean we are passing over in our “boat” as it were. Our boats will experience some storms in this life and at times we may feel that we will be overcome by all this water. But just as the disciples learned in their day, if the boat belongs to Jesus it will never ever sink.

WHOLE HEALTH NOTE

Though the Bible doesn’t teach a “health and wealth” gospel, it can’t be denied that in 1 Thessalonians 5:23  God declares His desire that “our whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless” (i.e. healthy). To be good stewards of our health, we must remember that food (both physical and spiritual) is fuel, and garbage put in is garbage put out, so how healthy is your fuel?
