David here is praying that he would not be double-minded towards the things of God. One of the reasons we can have a divided heart towards the things of God is because we fail to lay aside the unnecessary weights in our lives that are preventing us from having laser-like focus on the Lord. What cares are weighing you down that it's time to cast upon the Lord for Him to take?
