WHOLE HEALTH NOTE
By: Jay Ricci
The Apostle Paul here was reminding the Christians at Colosse that in addition to being patient and forgiving towards others as Christ was to them, they were to also “put on” charity as that would be the bond (glue) of their perfectness (completeness). Charity is more than love (i.e. the feeling or desire); it is love sincerely and visibly displayed and needs to be intentionally “put on” (like a coat) because unfortunately for us it doesn’t happen automatically. But when you look to Christ as your Example and consistently put on charity towards other people’s lives, it will also help you experience completeness in your own life.
