Most people try to dress their best for a wedding, for church etc and
though our outward appearance is important, God focuses on what's
happening in the heart (1 Sam 16:7b). Since Christ paid a tremendous
price to redeem us, He especially desires us to glorify Him in our
spirit (inwardly). You may be glorifying God outwardly (looking your
best) for all to see, but do you also put as much effort in looking good
to Him inwardly (with your spirit, attitude, desires)? Dear Christian, your heavenly
Father deserves to have all of you not just half of you.
