YOU Have The Power To Heal

"You have always had the power within you my son," said Jor-el to his son, Clark Kent, on Smallville when Clark was still unable to fly. At that, Clark realized that he just needed to believe in himself and tap into his power. While humans don't have the power to fly without machines, like the fictional Superman character, we have always had the power to heal. Contrary to conventional medicine or the drug pushers in the media, medical and pharmaceutical industry, drugs don't cure or heal anyone and never will. Barring severed limbs, the human body alone is able to heal when the proper conditions are met to support healing. When someone cuts his finger and it's been wrapped in a bandage for a period of time, the finger heals itself. The same happens on the inside of our bodies. Within this article, I will provide you with some real life examples of such healing.

David was a Type 1 juvenile diabetic when I learned about the Hallelujah Diet, and was already having problems with diabetic neuropathy in both feet. He was eating the Standard American Diet (S.A.D.) comprised of mostly cooked foods, meat, dairy and sugar deserts. He was also not getting adequate exercise. However, when David abandoned the S.A.D. and adopted the Hallelujah Diet, a plant-based diet like the one our Creator originally designed for the body (as found in Genesis 1:29), his body was able to restore itself back to health. In his own words, David says, “After adopting The Hallelujah Diet in 2006, it wasn’t long before the loss of sensation and the tingling in my feet was completely gone, and all other symptoms of neuropathy had vanished, and I have had no further problems since making the diet and lifestyle change... On the Standard American Diet (SAD) I saw a continuous degradation of my health, but since adopting The Hallelujah Diet my health has been restored. I tell others about the benefits that I have experienced since adopting The Hallelujah Diet and Lifestyle.” Amanda was diagnosed with stage III, metastasized breast cancer. Regardless of the form of cancer or where in the body the tumors appear, cancer itself is a disease resulting from the cells in the body suffering from internal nutritional deficiency and external toxicity. Amanda went the conventional medical route of surgery and chemo, but showed no improvement. Then Amanda tried a different route. She says, “just two years after refusing chemotherapy treatments and adopting the Hallelujah Diet, I went to see an oncologist who insisted I have an MRI, a CAT scan, and a bone scan. All three failed to show any cancer.”

Our Creator originally intended us to "be in health" (3rd John 1:2), not be in illness and have our bodies cut or drugged up. The relationship between an unhealthy lifestyle and the development of disease is undeniable. When people change their diet and lifestyle to that which their body was designed for, their body will be equipped to prevent or reverse most physical illnesses. The power to heal is within you. So, what better time to start healing than today? In order to kick start your body’s healing properties it's wise to start consuming foods that will detoxifying it and nourish it at the same time. Remember, the greatest investment you can make is to invest in your health.

Raw Fiber Rich Veggie Chips
After juicing, save the pulp from your veggies you juiced (I juiced carrots, spinach, cucumber and celery). If you don't have a juicer you can use a blender or food processor to thoroughly grind pulp, though a juicer is ideal for this recipe.
Use a wooden spoon to scoop out the pulp and press the pulp into the spoon to flatten it.
After scooping out the freshly made pulp and flattening it in the spoon, turn the spoon over and lightly tap it to release the pulp from the spoon. Place the flattened/formed pulped side by side in a decent dehydrator. I used the 6 tray Presto dehydrator (as seen in the pic above). Set the dehydrator no higher than 105°F (to keep raw and preserve the enzymes) and dry for about 12 hours.
The chips should be fully dry and crunchy at this point and they are ready to be eaten. If they still somewhat moist and soft, dry them at 105°F for about two additional hours.
Store any uneaten veggie chips in a decent ziplock bag and push out all of the air before sealing. The chips should stay fresh for at least 1-2 weeks, maybe longer. But my chips don't last that long as they are so delicious and healthy! The sweetness of the carrots satisfy your sweet tooth and the pulp also provides extra fiber, which is a good thing.
**Note for those without a dehydrator: you can dry the veggie chips in an oven BUT the temperature in the oven must not exceed 140°F or the veggie chips will cook instead of dry. To speed the drying time, increase the air flow. For air circulation, leave the oven door propped open about four inches. Drying time for these carrot based veggie chips should be about 10-16 hours in your oven. Examine the veggie chips often, and turn the trays frequently.
